Lavender bath salts

Want to get creative and thrifty this Christmas? How about a little bit of homemade luxury with lavender bath salts.

This recipe uses 1kg of Epsom salts . If you’re making more just double up the quantities. Use any recycled glass jars or pick up some preserving jars from ikea.

Ikg of Epsom salts

80 drops of lavender oil (use 20 drops of essential oil per 250g)

Put the salt in a glass or stainless steel bowl. Add the lavender oil and stir until evenly distributed. The smell at this point is incredible.

Pour into glass jars and attach lids.

Adding dried lavender can make a nice finishing touch, but not essential.

Label as you wish, ‘Spa in a jar’!
