A new study from Human & Experimental Toxicology reveals that countries that have the most vaccinations – such as the US, Italy, Greece and the UK – also have the highest infant death rates.
The United States has the most intensive programme with 26 vaccines that a child is supposed to have in its first year – and it also has the worst mortality level, with six out of every thousand infants dying.
Conversely, Sweden and Japan administer the fewest vaccines – there are just 12 in their programmes – and they have the lowest death rates with just 3 deaths per 1000. Interestingly, in Japan where vaccines were eliminated for children under the age of 2 in 1975 infant mortality rate subsequently plummeted to the lowest level in the world and although the changed this in 1995 they remain one of the countries that give the least amount of vaccines and have one of the lowest Infant Mortality Rates (IMR_
Infant Mortality Rate (IRM) is considered a good indicator of the socioeconomic rating of a country. Interestingly, the United States has one of the highest rankings of infant mortality rating’s. The United States received a 34, meaning there are 33 other countries that have lower IMR!
The mean (average) IMR of all the countries within each group was then calculated. Analysis of the unweighted mean IMRs for each group showed a statistically significant relationship between increasing the number of routinely given vaccines during the first year of life and infant mortality rates.
Researchers Neil Miller and Gary Goldman also suspect that sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) could also be the result of over-vaccination.
The researchers researched the vaccine programmes and infant mortality rates of 34 developed countries.
The UK, which has 19 vaccines in its programme, came 25th with 4.85 deaths per thousand.
Food for thought?
Human & Experimental Toxicology is a fully peer reviewed international journal that publishes preclinical and clinical pharmacology and toxicology original research and review articles on experimental and clinical studies of functional, biochemical and structural disorders. The study looked at the relationship between the aggressiveness of that country’s vaccinations schedule and how it corresponded to the infant mortality rate. Countries were divided into 5 groups according to the number of routinely administered vaccines during the first year of life: 12-14, 15-17,18-20,21-23 and 24 and 26 vaccinations.
