Zine loves: Bobble water bottles

Until I clocked this I didnt think anyone had quite cracked that bottle water/tap water debate.  There are lots of BPA free bottles on the market but if you are out and about, you have to take tap water and accept that you may get a few nasties along the way.  Or you just keep buying bottles of water which is a big expense and you end up chucking the bottles.

Then Bobble came along.  Bobble is a BPA, Phthalates and PVC free water bottle that filters tap water as you drink now available in lots of cool colours (magenta, blue, red, black, yellow, green and now also available in lilac and navy blue).  New York designer Karim Rashid of the Bobble, has a built in positively-charged carbon filter which removes chlorine and contaminants and impurities in tap water.

The bottled water market in the UK is estimated to be worth over £2 billion and most bottles end up discarded in landfill.  Total UK bottled water production stood at 1,627 million litres in 2010.

One filter lasts approx 300 refills. They will also recycle your old filters for you it you send them back to them

The Bobble also comes in a variety of sizes including a kids size.

The Bobble will save landfill and your pocket as well as being massively convenient.
