Meal times are tough for most parents with young children, we had many a screaming tantrum over the buffets endless treats, but this is crazy. I saw one child aged about 5 or 6 with a dummy in and the DVD player on. How's that for a message of be seen but not heard?

The French motorway system is brilliant they have these places to stop called Aires, each one is different but they all have picnic tables, toilets, space for the kids to just run around and some even have mini playgrounds. What’s wrong with bribing your children?

We are anxiously awaiting the results of our primary school application. We live in an area with a high proportion of young families where schools are oversubscribed. This year, our first choice school had 45 places of which 30 went to siblings leaving just 15 places. We been researching other options and come across some interesting education alternatives.
